The Brief
El Gaming Academy is an online coaching platform that lets video gamers monetize their talent through coaching and courses.
El Gaming Academy will be the first esports coaching platform set in Egypt and The Middle East to serve the gamers personal journey in competitive gaming. It aims to build better players by connecting them to an expanding list of fully vetted and background-checked professional esports coaches.
The brand aims to give Arabic audiences easy access to high-level coaching, allowing them to scale their gameplay for their own satisfaction or to reach the professional level.
The brand is targeting Gamers and Otakus, especially those between 16 and 30 years old who play competitive games and need a coach on a regular basis.
What sets us apart from even worldwide competitors is that we take great care with the coaches we pick to work with, and our pricing, we also aim to build a community which allows everyone to ask questions for free, and share the motivation to learn and improve.

Since the target audience is the Otakus, it is suggested to use the figure of Jiraiya as a primary mascot for the visual identity.
Problem Overview
Electronic sports have become an essential part of the lives of future generations, with the gradual move away from physical games that need a lot of movement, and by time, electronic games have turned from mere tools for fun and entertainment to a huge industry in which private and government companies spend billions of pounds, to match the investment in the other sports such as football. We see the absence of many of the platforms that we see in most other sports. Players in this field need a platform to help them find coaches for teams and individuals. The Gaming Academy should be the best way for players to assign coaches personally or for the team through a digital online platform that plays the role of the broker between coaches and players and will focus on the middle east audience.
LOGO DESIGN

What was required was to create an identity inspired by the character Jiraiya in the Naruto anime. I implemented a cartoon (mascot) logo that contains features close to the character of Jiraiya with bold features to give a feeling of competition and an impression of sportsmanship in esports, in addition to making the character resemble a coach.
